We have been receiving reports from the market, people selling refurbished phones as new mobile Xiaomi. To prevent abuse, you can check whether Xiaomi phones are brand new, refurbished or fake IMEI on the official website of Xiaomi.

 

1. Make sure that the IMEI number of the phone and the IMEI on the box are matched

 

(1). Type * # 06 # on the Dialpad to find the IMEI.

(2). Go to Settings -> About phone -> Status to look your S / N

 

 

If the IMEI number of the phone does not agree with the IMEI on the box, it must be a phone problem.

Because Xiaomi is China Brand, the result may in Simplified Chinese

 

2.1) If it shows 官 翻 机a result, as shown in the drawings

It means that it is a phone CPO.

 

2.2) If the display is "IMEI does not exist, check and enter again" as a result, as in the photo, it means that it is from an unknown source. This is not original, not a new

 

2.3) If it shows a Chinese character without 官 翻 机in effect, as in the picture, it means that is original and official brand new phones

These Chinese characters only shows that it can be verified and is authentic.

 

 

All phones with Xiaomi, regardless of the warranty or parallel export / international specifications or China Spec, can be verified as described above.

 

Although it costs a little time to check out, I still think it's a good way to check and make sure that you are buying from a reliable seller!
